Beach walk & run 12.13.25

The Blind Fitness Beach Walk & Run is a wonderful opportunity to get outdoors, move your body, connect with others, and help raise awareness for the blind and low vision community. Join us Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 9:30am - 11:30am.

(Upcoming Dates: October 11 for White Cane Awareness Day!)

Time: 9:30am-11:30am *Mandatory new volunteer orientation at 9am*

Who: All people who are blind or have low vision, along with their family, friends, and community members. 

Location: 1118 E. Cabrillo Blvd, Santa Barbara CA 93103
We meet at the end of the Cabrillo west parking lot, next to the Cabrillo Pavilion East Beach Bathhouse. Look for the Blind Fitness flag near the bike racks and showers.

Tip: Parking entrance is located at Corona Del Mar and Cabrillo blvd. Enter the lot, turn left. Go to where the lot ends at the Cabrillo East Beach Bathhouse. There is a pay station located

Schedule: 

• 9:00-9:30am: New volunteer guide training & orientation (Mandatory for all first time volunteers)
• 9:30-9:45am: Meet & greet connection circle
• 9:45-11am: Walk, run, stroll towards Harbor & return
• 11:00-11:30am: Post walk/run snacks & closing circle

Suggested donation: $10 per participant/volunteer
